Darkroom Studio
Corporate Video Production in Hong Kong
A corporate film should help people understand your organisation: what you do, who you work with and why your work matters. Darkroom Studio brings together interviews, location filming, editing and motion graphics to present that story clearly.
The right approach depends on the audience and use. A company profile for a website, a recruitment film and an internal communication video need different messages, contributors and delivery formats. We begin with those decisions before developing the filming plan.

From brief to delivery
01
Define the story
Agree the audience, key messages, viewing context and intended length. Identify who will appear, which locations can be filmed and what existing materials can support the story.
02
Plan and film
Develop the treatment and interview questions, then plan the schedule, crew, lighting and sound. Site access and contributor availability are confirmed before filming.
03
Edit and refine
Build the narrative from the filmed material, then refine the edit, colour, sound, subtitles and graphics. Agree review stages and delivery versions in the project scope.

Filming days and locations, the number of contributors, script development, archive material, animation, language versions and delivery formats all affect the work involved. Share your intended use, target date and available budget so that the proposal can match the project.
If available, send a short company introduction, the audience you want to reach, reference films and any fixed brand or legal requirements. You can submit an initial enquiry before all of these details are decided.
Can you combine interviews with workplace footage?
Yes. Interviews can provide the narrative while workplace footage shows the people, processes and environment being discussed. The filming plan depends on access, permissions and the story agreed in the brief.
Can a corporate film have Chinese and English versions?
Language requirements can be included in the scope, such as translated subtitles, on-screen graphics or separate voice-over versions. Agree the languages and who approves the wording before post-production.
How long does production take?
The schedule depends on preparation, filming access, the number of review stages and post-production requirements. Share your intended launch date at enquiry stage so the team can assess a workable schedule.
